HUB program launch

Hello Transition HUB teachers and principals!
We would like to officially invite you to attend our HUB launch workshop which will be held on September 2 at St. Peter’s from 9:00 am-3:00 pm. This workshop is intended for the designated
HUB teacher (and of course administrators if you choose) from each transition hub site.
Feedback from principals indicated that a day in lieu would be available for you to use during the school year. A copy of the filled AESOP report for your day in lieu will be submitted to LSI
for reimbursement.
The September 2nd workshop will be facilitated by Inclusive Programming consultants and support team members (FSLW and EBS).
The activities during the day will provide an introduction to our Community of Practice and book study. There will be presentations of materials, resources and then a practical workshop focused on the vision of the Transition HUB program plan plus plenty of
time for discussion and planning together.
Details of the day (light breakfast and lunch will be included):
In this workshop attendees will build knowledge and capacity to deliver the Transition HUB program vision. The workshop will include:
· Introduction to the Community of Practice and Book study
· Presentation and discussion regarding valuable resources
· Strategies for collaborating with classroom teachers, ideas
for programming inclusively
· Opportunities to share information
· Time for questions and answers
